While working on the preparations for the Art of Cooperation Conference 2025, the Széchenyi Programme Office was organising three one-week study visits in October and November within the framework of the “Capacity Building for the Implementation of Interreg and Cohesion Policy – C4C” project, implemented in cooperation with Particip.
Funded by DG REGIO, the C4C initiative aims to support four EU candidate countries—Albania, North Macedonia, Moldova, and Ukraine—in preparing for the effective implementation of the European Union’s Cohesion Policy.
🇭🇺 Two study visits were hosted in Budapest, Hungary:
• one for controllers,
• and one for national authority staff.
🇦🇹 The third study visit took place in Vienna and Graz, Austria, welcoming colleagues from Joint Secretariats as well as Information Points and Branch Offices.
A heartfelt thank you to the Managing Authorities, National Authorities, Joint Secretariats, Regional Coordinators, National Contact Points and First Level Control bodies of the following programmes, whose dedicated contribution throughout these three weeks made the study visits truly meaningful:
Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme, Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary-Serbia Programme, Interreg Programme Slovenia–Hungary, Interreg Hungary-Slovakia Programme Interreg Programme, Austria–Hungary, Interreg Central Europe Programme, Interreg Danube Region Programme, Interreg Slovakia–Austria Programme, Interreg Slovenia–Austria Programme, Interreg Slovenia–Croatia Programme, Land Steiermark, Interact and Particip.
Altogether, we mobilised nearly 50 experienced Interreg experts, enabling valuable knowledge exchange and peer learning.
Looking forward to continuing our joint efforts to strengthen cooperation and capacity across and beyond the EU!
