BLOOM – Building Lives of Our Minors, Promoting Their Health

Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme
BLOOM strengthens cross-border paediatric healthcare between Romania and Ukraine by introducing telemedicine services, upgrading infrastructure, and fostering professional cooperation.

Impact Pathway

Paediatric patients in both regions often face long travel distances to access specialised care. BLOOM addresses this by introducing cross-border telemedicine, enabling faster diagnoses, optimised treatment coordination, and improved access to modern healthcare services.
Results that lived on
Hospitals in Suceava (RO) and Kolomyia (UA) are aligning treatment protocols, training staff jointly, and establishing a cross-border healthcare network. These partnerships are expected to continue beyond the project, supporting long-term cooperation and potential expansion into other medical fields.
